Marizza Delgado

Division : Influencers
Marizza is a fashion model and a woman in technology. In her first Intro to Java programming class, she was one of three girls in the whole lecture hall of 40 students. Recognizing this underrepresentation in STEM (an integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) she uses her platform to encourage more women to take up space. STEM education is not about forcing girls to like it, but showing them that if that is what they want to do, there is nothing to stop them. Fueled by advocacy and her love for the stage, Marizza entered her first beauty pageant. After being crowned Miss Pacific Coast Teen USA in 2017, and since then has worked for brands such as H&M, Walmart, Target, and Kohls. She has been featured in Seventeen Magazine, Cosmopolitan, LOreal campaigns, and walked two seasons of New York Fashion Week. Modeling has taught her to push her limits, embrace her creativity, and chase her dreams I never thought were possible for me. Marizza is currently studying Technology Information Management at UC Santa Cruz, and a Marketing and Business Intelligence intern at Queenly app. When she is not on her computer, you can find her cooking vegan meals, reading, promoting cruelty-free beauty products, and geeking out about all things skincare.
